ENCRE

Music licensing and sync for independent creators

Encre coordinates licensing for music and media, connecting rights holders with projects that need them. Encre works only with rights it controls or is authorized to represent, and does not promise placements.

Who it is for

Two groups. Rights holders, such as artists, labels, and filmmakers, who want to explore licensing and synchronization for their work. And project teams, such as producers, music supervisors, and brands, who need to license music or media.

What Encre handles

  • Rights discovery and coordination
  • Licensing administration once terms are agreed in writing
  • Pitching of selected work where Encre is authorized to represent it
  • Inquiries from rights holders about licensing their catalog
  • Inquiries from project teams about licensing music or media

Common questions

Will Encre place my music in a film, show, or ad?

Encre cannot promise any placement. Opportunities depend on the project, the work, and the rights. Encre may identify selected projects for licensing, synchronization, and media placement.

Does Encre represent every catalog?

No. Encre represents only rights it controls or is authorized to represent, under a written agreement.

Is licensing separate from distribution?

Yes. You can distribute with Encre without opting into licensing, and any licensing arrangement is documented separately.
