Film and video distribution for independent filmmakers
Encre reviews your title, prepares it, and distributes accepted titles through platforms and partners it is authorized to use. You keep ownership of your film and the underlying rights.
Who it is for
Independent filmmakers, production companies, and rights holders with finished films, television programs, or related audiovisual content, who control the distribution rights they grant. The Film agreement is exclusive for the accepted titles, covered rights, and territory during the term.

Common questions
Which platforms will my film be on?
Encre distributes through platforms and channels available under its own authorized arrangements. Availability through another distributor or a public directory does not mean Encre has access, and Encre does not guarantee distribution through any specific platform.
Is the license exclusive?
Yes. The film agreement grants Encre an exclusive distribution license for accepted titles, covered rights, and territory during the term, and does not transfer ownership.
How long is the agreement?
The initial term is one year and renews yearly unless either side gives at least thirty days’ written notice before the end of the current term. That notice prevents renewal. It is not a right to leave at any time during a term.
When do I get paid?
The first payment can take around sixty days after a title becomes available on a platform, because Encre must receive the funds first. That is an estimate. Ongoing payments depend on revenue actually received and the payment terms disclosed before you sign.
